My very first post on my blog. This is where I entice you with what is to come. Well, simply put, this blog will follow me on my path to get my music out there. I recently realized that if I wanted a career in music I would have to be proactive and work had for it. I am still in the beginning stages of this process. I broke it down to a few steps that I will probably share with you later on.
Also, I plan on following local music venues and shows that come to Gainesville while I'm here. I also will post show dates to venues that I've been to and enjoy. You'll catch the drift on the kind of music and venues I like as I continue blogging.
Now to introduce myself. My name is Michael. I am a senior at the University of Florida studying telecommunications. I enjoy a bunch of different extreme sports, my favorite being wakeboarding. We board in the ocean or intercoastal (none of this lake stuff). I train capoeira. That's Brazilian martial arts. My true passion is music. It is the one thing that I could not live without. I have been playing the piano since the age of four. There is always a song in my head be it classical or popular. I feel like this could go on forever. There is more I can tell you , but I guess that is what other posts are for.
